For The Gods || The Timeless Pantheon

The Pantheon is by far my favorite structure in all of Rome. Almost two thousand years after it was built, the Pantheon’s dome is still the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome. The height to the oculus and the diameter of the interior circle are the same which really shows the genius of the ancient engineers. It’s also one of the best-preserved of all Roman buildings and it has been in continuous use throughout its history. Did I mention it was awesome? 😉

In the Eternal City of Rome, there’s nothing more iconic, more recognized, or more mesmerizing than The Colosseum. It has stood for centuries and in that time, it has also become one of the most famous (and most visited) historical structures in the world. I try to visit each time I’m in Rome and for me, spending time near Il Colosseo is always food for my soul.

The Eternal City || Rome, Italy

The views from Ponte Sant’Angelo are some of the best that Rome has to offer. Whether you’re a photographer or just out for a casual stroll, it’s a serene and breathtaking experience. As you walk along the bridge, you can see the beautiful Vatican Cupola in the distance. Catch it at the right time and you can also watch the daylight fade as the city lights turn on.
